U.S Travel Ban – What This Means For Nigerian Students Wishing To Study In The US.

Nigeria has been added to a list of countries whose residents face restrictions on travel into the United States. This new policy is supposed to take effect from Febuary 22nd.

But, there’s good news.

If you are a student who wants to study in the U.S, you still can; despite the travel ban.

I’ll tell you how:

No student who meets the minimum academic and financial requirement will be denied visa from Nigeria. F-1 visa applicants are exempt from the travel ban; as the new policy does not apply to them.

If you are an international student with a valid visa; you have nothing to worry about when returning to the U.S. However, those with expired visas will have to apply from abroad.

Lastly, You should plan trips accordingly, because entry into the US will definitely not be as easy as it used to be.

So, what’s the next step? Share this so everybody can know!

Don’t be selfish.
