The ASUU vs IPPS Saga: The Latest You Need To Know.

One thing that has been causing a lot of friction between the Federal Government and ASUU for months; is the Integrated Personnel and Payroll System (IPPS).

In fact, the ongoing ASUU strike still revolves around the same issue; as the union has called for the system to be scrapped; while the government deems it very necessary for managing employees of the government.

However, Buhari has just ordered for the salaries of lecturers who have not yet been paid for the months of February and March (because they were not enrolled in the IPPS system); to be paid.

And while there are commendations from people regarding that; there has also been arguments of whether it actually does more harm than good:

What do you think?
