Hi everyone,meet Mr.Olarinde Ifeoluwa; a 400 level Student of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ibadan.He makes and customise clothes under the brand name Hyphi Designs(HD).Vasiti had an exclusive interview with him and he walks us step by step through his Entrepreneurial Journey. In the course of the interview,he says that in the realm of entrepreneurship, a great risk taker is a great maker.Let’s sit back and take a cursory sip at the entrepreneurial juice that he has to offer.
Can We Meet You?
I am Olarinde Ifeoluwa Amos; a 400 level Student of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ibadan. I am a professional fashion designer and practically, the CEO of Hyphi Designs popularly called ‘HD’. I could be somewhat playful in the outside but I am a gentle type from within. Aside from designing clothes,i am a fan of music especially from the gospel genre.
What ignited the spark in you to venture into this business?
Clothing,appearance and sophistication has always been my forte. So, I started this journey when I discovered that I could monetize the flair and enjoy the stimulating experience that permeates around it along the way.
Do you intend to go into the Business full-time after School?
I will let circumstances take the lead
If you had the chance to start all over again, what would you do differently?
I would have started way earlier than I did.
Are you an adventurous type of person? What’s the most stimulating experience you have ever had in your Entrepreneurial journey? Of course,i am an adventurous type. As far as my business is concerned,the sacrifices that lingers on overwhelming cost of practice, market surveys and projects stimulate me.
Who do you look up to in your business industry?
I look up to huge numbers of foreign brands like ADIDAS,NIKE,CK and the likes.
Tell me about a time you had to slog your way to get through tons of work from Class and Business. How did you get through it?
This is the kind of inevitable battle I face all the time but I get through them by encouragement and assistance from friends and members of family.

What piece of advice do you have for budding entrepreneurs?
Start-ups should learn to take risks.
