Student Entrepreneur Of The Week: Exclusive Interview With Mr Adeosun Ayomide

Hi everyone,meet Mr Adeosun Ayomide.He is a 300 level student of the department of political science in the prestigious University of Ibadan.Ayomide is the CEO of a clothing brand ‘Mideclothiers’. He is of course an entrepreneur with a distinct mark; he does not take entrepreneurial risks recklessly.Vasiti had an exclusive interview with him and he walks us step by step through his entrepreneurial journey.                                                           

Can We Meet You?

My name is Adeosun Ayomide.I am the 4th son from the family of five. Also, I am a 300 level student of political science in the University of Ibadan.A seasoned fashion designer that specialises in making the best clothes for your Mua event.

What ignited the spark in you to venture into this business?

I started the brand because I wanted a better future for myself ; a future of glowing opportunities where something has to work out if others don’t . I felt that starting in the university was the best catch. It was just the best option I had .

Do you intend to go into the Business full-time after School?

I will still be in the business after school but not full time . I intend to explore other things too.
If you had the chance to start all over again, what would you do differently?
If I had a good chance, I would consult a lot of people , get a mentor , be careful when picking my team , create a separate bank account for my brand and I would have used a different business name.

Are you an adventurous type of person? What’s the most stimulating experience you have ever had in your Entrepreneurial journey?

Of course, I have had a lot of encouraging experiences.
Who do you look up to in fashion designing industry?

The orange nerd (Creative director of Orangecultureng) , maxvive , yomi casual and Seyi Vodi .

In one word, to what do you most attribute success?


What piece of advice do you have for budding entrepreneurs?

It is important for them to be genuine, hardworking and bold.They should make wise decisions too.
What do you think of Vasiti?

Vasiti is a very nice place for students to network , learn , read and buy things from a network of students . It is a very helpful site that hawks entrepreneurs and other group of students on a tray of entrepreneurial condiments.
