Miss Seun Edema Is a 400 level Student of Economics, University of Ibadan.She is a great multitasked as she is a Makeup Artist,fixes and paint nails,makes hair and tie ‘Gele’. She has won several awards but the recent one is the Junior Chamber International Fifteen Outstanding Person Awards( FOPA ), University of Ibadan Chapter which is ‘ the most outstanding person in Entrepreneurship 2017’. Vasiti had an exclusive interview with us and she walks us through her entrepreneurial Journey.

I am Oluwaseun Edema
I am a 400 level student of Economics, University of Ibadan. I am from Ilaje,Ondo state.I am a makeup artist.Also,I make hair, fix nails and tie gele.
When did you make up your mind that ‘Okay…I am going to be a professional Makeup Artist?
I don’t think that’s how it happened. I just started falling in love with the concept of beautifying people and started trying it out and I’m where I am today.
What is a dream job for you?
One where I get to travel a lot and meet new people.
How do you juggle business and school work together?
It’s all about setting my priorities right and managing my time. School always comes first.
So I reject certain Jobs if they’d class with important school work.
Who is your role model?
Tara Fela-Durotoye Of house of Tara.
What was the toughest experience you have ever had and how did you get over it?
I think it’s basically just Juggling school with work and I think I’ve been able to handle it well and that’s by sticking to a strict priority list.
What is the important beauty advice that you can give to women?
Smile a lot and do or wear what you’re comfortable with.
What piece of advice do you have for startups?
It’s going to be rough in the beginning but be consistent and prayerful. Take risks, advertise as much as you can and be consistent.Consistency cannot be overemphasized.
What do you think of Vasiti?
To be frank,I really do not know what vasiti is but from this one time experience with Vasiti, I think any online magazine that supports and recognizes students that are doing one thing or the other is amazing.
