OAU Management Promises To Fix Non Accreditation of Law, Dentistry And Other Courses

The management of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile -Ife has pointed the accusing fingers at the National University Commission (NUC) for non- accreditation of some courses in the institution due to their recent policy which is against back to back interim status.


Prior to this, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB ) had declared that any OAU aspirants who applied to study Law, Dentistry , Fine and Applied Arts , Botany and Family Nutrition and Consumer Sciences for the 2018 / 2019 academic session should either change course or University due to non- accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC).The Public Relations Officer of the institution,Mr Abiodun Olanrewaju confirmed the  situation as he made reference to other affected institutions.He stated that the University is not resting on their oars as far as the issue is concerned. He emphasized that everything would be put in its proper place in no time.
