NASU Disrupts Utme Mock Examination At Obafemi Awolowo University

Report have it that the non-teaching staff members of Obafemi Awolowo University under the Non- Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) blew an air of disruption that put a stop to the UTME mock examination Scheduled to hold on Monday.

The centre coordinator of OAU ICT,Sururah Bello stated that the Union members were angry because of the following reasons viz: √the Joint Action Committee (JAC), an umbrella body of the three unions announced the fact that the earned allowance that has been given to the management earlier was withdrawn.

√The Oau management ordered them to go back to work to avoid being dismissed.

√The Vice Chancellor of the University had threatened to invite the police into the campus to clear the roadblocks mounted by striking workers.
Therefore, the Vice Chancellor of the University (Professor Ogunbodede eyitope) debunked the allegations made against him by the workers and shunned their actions.
