Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart is a Nollywood masterpiece; a blend of culture, passion, and entertainment. Furthermore, it was Nigeria’s number one shot at claiming an Oscar award.
But not anymore.
Lionheart has been disqualified by The Academy, on the basis of not being foreign enough; and having too much English.
If that’s a thing.
