Covid’19: FG In Conjunction With NTA And FRCN Sets To Commence Online Lectures For University Students In Nigeria.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed the plans they have for the tetiary institutions; in Nigeria to assist students receive lectures via the media, Nigeria Television Authority (NTA); and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria(FRCN).   

The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu, on Tuesday in Abuja at the 11th joint national briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF); on COVID-19 announced this great plans.

This was as a result of the pressure put on the federal government to look for a way of educating the students; who had been forcefully directed to stay at home due to the closure of the schools to combat the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Adams stated, some of the tertiary institutions had already start organizing; and lecturing their students online in conjunction with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA); giving their lessons online and stated that the partnership with the Nigeria Television Authority and the FRCN; he Further stated this development would also become a permanent feature even when the pandemic is over.
